SHABBAT SHALOM

Jew log day 2.

We had an early start to the long amazing day. We started out with the most amazing breakfast. It was nothing like we had ever tasted. There were eggs that were worth eating along with a wide assortment of breads. After breakfast, we went to the Haas Promenade to look over at Mt. Moriah, Mt. of Olives, and Mt.Zion. We learned about the history of the City of David before we took a trip under the city through the water tunnels. They were so interesting to walk through, especially when the ceiling got really low and we had to squat down. Then we went to the market where we met so many different kinds of people and had the most amazing falafel. After we left the market we walked back to the hotel to take a nap. Eryn and I went with Mindy and Daniel to a bakery to hang out. When we got back I found everyone sleep so i decided to sleep too. Around 7:30 we went down to the Kotel (the wall) to experience Shabat in Jerusalem. While there we met many Israelis and had the most fantastic rugaluch. These Israelis came up to us and just gave us a box of them. We ate some of them and gave the rest to some of the homeless. We had some amazing chicken and soup for dinner along with some rice. Right now it is 11:30 and we are all sitting in the hotel room just hanging out. Goodbye for now.
